Battery Abuse Testing
Battery abuse testing is a process that applies a range of adverse conditions to battery cells and packs in a laboratory to collect data on how they will react to similar conditions while in use.
At BSI, the battery testing is carried out according to international standards including SANDIA2107-6925, SAE J2464, UL 9540, UL 9540A, UL1973 UN 38.2, USABC. Also, some specialized standards such as IEC 16960, IEC 62133, IEC 62281, IEC 61959.
